OPCW & ECOSOC
Organisation for the Prohibition of chemical weapons
Hello everyone! My name is Alex and I am from Luxembourg. I am currently finishing my B.A. in Language and Communication at the University of Siegen. My MUN career started in 2016, when I first participated in SiegMUN. In the beginning, I didn't know much about the procedure of a MUN, but I soon noticed that it is all about communication and having strong arguments. Over time, it gets easier to speak in front of a larger group and present your arguments with confidence. Model UN conferences are not only a personal challenge but also a wonderful opportunity to meet fun people from all parts of the world. NMUN in New York - probably one of the most multicultural cities in the world- seems like a great chance to both improve my communication skills and make some new friends. I am excited to be part of Siegen's delegation for NMUN 2018.
Alex will be accompanied by our Head delegate Evelyne Kadesa as his partner.
Topics for the Conference:
1.The Complete Eradication of Chemical Weapons
2.Providing Protection and Assistance to Victims of Chemical Weapons
3.The Role of the OPCW in Counter-Terrorism Efforts
